Job summary

Network1 is seeking an experienced Head of Operational Finance to lead its finance function across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The role requires a CA(SA) with at least 6 years post-articles experience and 4 years of leadership in finance teams within the construction/industrial and renewable energy sectors.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and strategic financial insights, while ensuring IFRS compliance and regulatory adherence across group entities.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• Minimum 6 years post-articles experience.
• At least 4 years leading finance teams.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full financial accounting across group entities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and planning.
• Drive monthly project financial reviews with senior leadership.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, accounting functions and asset management.
• Perform variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support business growth through financial reporting, controls and process improvements.
