Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Vereeniging seeks a Production Manager/Head Miller to lead a ~25-person shift milling team, driving production, quality and cost targets while ensuring adherence to food-safety standards.

You will coach and develop staff, optimise milling operations, and partner with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to sustain continuous improvement in a large-scale flour mill.

Qualifications

• Recognised Wheat/Flour Milling qualification and substantial practical milling experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with coaching ability.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000/HACCP and food-safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 25-person shift milling team to meet production KPIs and quality standards.
• Optimise milling processes for throughput, extraction, yield and cost.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, health and safety policies and audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure plant availability.
