Job summary

Maxion Maintenance Johannesburg seeks a Senior Millwright to lead a skilled maintenance team at our Gauteng plant. The ideal candidate is a qualified Millwright with Haas Machinery experience and a proven supervisory track record.

You will oversee planned maintenance, manage budgets and spares, coordinate external contractors, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance, planning and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organisations.

Responsibilities

• Control expenditure within the approved budget for plant repairs and building maintenance.
• Ensure daily job/time sheets are submitted timeously.
• Capture completed job cards on a daily basis. Submits daily attendance register and pay queries relating to time keeping.
• Raise purchase requisitions with the correct authorization before official HL orders are produced.
• Liaise with external contractors and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are upheld.
