Lexdan Select is assisting a group of companies with their search for a Head of Legal.

The company operates predominantly in the mobility sector.

The role reports directly to the CEO. The company is based in the Centurion region and has an in-office working requirement. The salary on offer is between R1.2m - R1.6m p.a.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 years post articles experience
2. Experience in commercial law
3. Drafting and vetting contracts
4. Experience as in-house counsel or in a corporate commercial team in a law firm

Duties:

1. Compliance and regulatory management
2. Manage litigation and engage with external counsel
3. Compile and prepare Legal and Compliance reports for Exco and relevant Board Committees
4. Assist HR Department with chairing hearings and/or representing the Company at legal forums
5. Take shared responsibility and accountability for good governance practices
