Job Description

Responsible for the specification, product selection, and design of infrastructure components to implement system architecture and to drive business solutions through innovative Information Technology strategies.

This role blends data-driven insights, content creation, and strategic marketing with a focus on simplifying complex financial wellness topics for different stakeholders.

A person in this role needs to be adept at translating complex ideas into accessible narratives, while also ensuring that the content drives engagement and supports the IAE goals.

Responsibilities

1. Explore, develop, and design solutions utilizing Kubernetes.
2. Enhance operational efficiency and propose solutions to improve cost-effectiveness.
3. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff, to gather and analyze business requirements.
4. Work on Cisco PCCE system design solutions for improved administration and solutions delivery.
5. Communicate system requirements to testers, developers, business analysts, and other relevant teams.
6. Design and deliver infrastructure components supporting multiple domains within the architecture, combining both current and emerging technologies.
7. Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary interventions.
8. Document technical architecture designs, conduct analysis, and support post-project evaluations and metric collection.
9. Provide technical consultancy on application or infrastructure projects, aligning systems with architecture standards and adapting the architecture when needed.
10. Drive continuous improvement in service quality, processes, and automation of IT systems.
11. Define and guide enterprise technology decisions and contribute to governance activities ensuring architecture compliance.
12. Support personal development and competency growth.
13. Deliver training on current systems and solutions when required.

Qualifications

1. Have an IT-related Degree or Diploma.
2. Have 5+ years of experience in the IT field.
3. Have programming experience or knowledge of programming principles.
4. Have 2-3 years of experience in Systems Architecture and Kubernetes.
5. Have strong design skills on Linux and Windows systems.
6. Have advanced implementation and administration expertise in Kubernetes / Rancher.
7. Have a Java development background (advantageous).
8. Have experience with automated deployments (advantageous).
9. Have solid understanding of infrastructure, data, and application systems.
10. Have TOGAF and/or Zachman certification (advantageous but not required).
11. Have knowledge of Test-Driven Development.
12. Are familiar with Agile methodologies.
13. Have experience with OpenShift.
