Job Description

The Head of IT Assurance and Digital Innovation will play a crucial role in improving quality within our network and driving digital transformation.

Key Performance Areas

1. IT Audit: Develop and implement a risk-based IT audit methodology and plan.
2. Perform research and prepare recommendations to the Technical Committee on topical IT Audit matters.
3. Prepare guidance for the network on IT Audit technical matters.
4. Prepare and/or update relevant IT audit templates or working papers.
5. Perform IT audit technical consults within the network.
6. Regular interactions with member firms discussing topical IT audit matters with engagement partners and leadership.
7. Prepare high-quality guidance documents/written reports.
8. Participate in relevant network-related quality initiatives/projects.
9. Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and processes.
10. Review and enhance IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
11. Ensure the effectiveness of data and information controls.

1. Digital Innovation: Lead the development and execution of digital transformation strategies.
2. Identify opportunities for leveraging new technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
3. Manage digital projects.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and digital initiatives.
5. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in digital innovation.

Requirements

1. CA (SA) who trained in public practice (external audit).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit and digital innovation roles.
3. Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) are preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and audit practices.
5. Proven track record of managing digital projects and driving innovation.
6. Advanced risk management and audit skills.
7. Strong IT governance and compliance knowledge.
8. Proficiency in digital technologies and project management.
9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
