Job description

Purpose: Provide strategic technical direction and manage multiple technical teams responsible for the full product lifecycle, including product features and support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee efficiency, optimization, innovation, and people development in technical environments.
  • Manage direct reports (Team Leaders: Operations, Technology, Data and Analytics) and indirect reports (Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Systems Engineers, DBAs, Data Scientists, BIBA, Production Support Technicians).
  • Provide software services to a product by delivering system changes and enhancements.
  • Risk and control/compliance management, third-party relationship management, and budgeting/control/reporting.
  • Faultless delivery of contracted expectations, adhering to quality standards and SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Information Technology - Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in software development management, leading agile development environments, managing budgets, and utilizing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of functional knowledge particular to the product, people management practices, stakeholder management, budgeting and accounting principles, business analysis and design, project management methodologies.
