Overview

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG industry, is seeking a results-driven Head of Group Procurement to take charge of their global sourcing strategy. This pivotal role will see you shaping procurement across South Africa, the UK, and Europe, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and world-class supply chain performance. You’ll be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with indirect reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (required)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain (required)
• CIPS Qualification (advantageous)
• Financial background (CIMA / CA) – advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior procurement role within FMCG, including exposure to manufacturing and costing environments
• European / international procurement experience (required)
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management track record
• Proven success in cost-saving and supply chain optimization
