Are you ready to lead a high-performing finance team and drive strategic financial decision-making?

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Finance : Rates to oversee and analyse all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy. This senior role demands a proactive leader who excels at translating financial data into actionable insights and managing a team to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements :

  • A strong background in financial management within the financial services sector (minimum 7 years), including at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Advanced qualifications such as an Advanced Diploma or National first degree, with CIMA preferred
  • Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimise team performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A commitment to compliance with regulatory and risk policies

Key responsibilities include :

  • Managing daily financial activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Conducting thorough pre-month-end business reviews to verify financial results
  • Tracking and analysing month-end financial performance and reporting to stakeholders
  • Identifying deviations from targets and recommending corrective actions or justifications
  • Ensuring business continuity through robust processes and system controls
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Translating business strategies into approved financial plans aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Group Risk and Compliance policies and regulatory standards
  • Leading and developing a capable, high-performing team through performance management and talent development
  • Driving productivity improvements and cost optimisation via process enhancements and innovation
  • Participating in internal and external forums to stay abreast of industry and regulatory developments
  • Promoting a client-centric culture and delivering world-class service through team leadership
  • Managing transformational targets through inclusive recruitment, retention, and training practices
  • Identifying resource inefficiencies and promoting multi-skilling to optimise capacity
