Qualifications

Job description

The purpose of this role is to support the Country Managing Director, Contract Director and the Executive Leadership team to run the business to meet short- and long-term business objectives – financial and non-financial.

This is underpinned by excellent financial reporting driving insight & action, providing financial analysis to support any key operational & commercial decisions and by having a respected & engaged finance team working closely with the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management of key individuals within the business and client
  • Ownership and preparation of quarterly business financial forecast, including the provision of high-quality analysis & insight around any deviation from plan and the action plan to deliver the forecast/BP
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered for the area of business responsibility
  • Provide key finance support in bids
  • Ensure robust financials controls are in place and followed which are aligned to group policy and all appropriate standards (including IFRS 15, IFRS 16).
  • Responsible for reporting on Legal Entities
  • Excellent leadership of finance team including their performance and development
  • Provide value added analysis on issues impacting the business and manage forecasts for the Business Units.
  • Maintain strong financial governance over key projects and report into Division as appropriate.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the integrity and accuracy of P&L, balance sheet and working capital requirements

Professional Know-How

Qualification: CA(SA) - (Non-negotiable)

Minimum experience:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 6 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the BPO Sector.

This position has supervisory responsibility. (Heading the SA Finance Team)
