Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial management role, ideally within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Registered CA(SA) – this qualification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and other accounting standards, together with experience in consolidated annual financial statements.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience managing cash flow, tax planning, and audit processes (internal and external).
  • Solid understanding of South African tax legislation, including payroll taxes and VAT.
  • Proficient in handling SARS audits, CIPC compliance, and statutory reporting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
  • Experience in evaluating investments and capital projects, with sound commercial judgment.
  • Ability to manage and develop internal controls, audit procedures, and financial policies.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone dynamic, resilient, and adaptable—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This is a high-trust role in a company where integrity and ownership matter deeply. For the right person, there’s also the exciting potential to step into a Group Financial leadership position as we grow.
