Job description

Head of Distribution, International Financial Services Group, Cape Town, South Africa.

POSITION INFO :

Our client, a renowned International and national Wealth management Group is URGENTLY seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Distribution to be based in Cape Town.

PLEASE NOTE :

  • A benchmarked CTC Salary Package of R1.2M – R1.5M per annum is on offer.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :

  • At minimum a Financial degree (BBA, B.Bus.Sc) with a CFP or CFA designation as a bonus.
  • At least 7+ years’ experience in marketing and distributing CIS investment products.
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a sales team.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • In close collaboration with the Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer, investment team, and distribution team, the candidate will be required to:
  • Widely communicate and market the various strategies of Company funds to existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop a sales strategy for Company suite of funds and private client services.
  • Develop and meet defined sales targets.
  • Create measurement criteria for managing the distribution team.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the distribution team.
  • Set up client events and meetings to achieve sales objectives.
  • Service clients.
  • Contribute positively to the culture.
