Head of Distribution, International Financial Services Group, Cape Town, South Africa.

POSITION INFO :

Our client, a renowned international and national wealth management group, is URGENTLY seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Distribution based in Cape Town.

PLEASE NOTE :

• A benchmarked CTC salary package of R1.2M – R1.5M per annum is on offer.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :

• At minimum, a financial degree (BBA, B.Bus.Sc) with a CFP or CFA designation is a bonus.
• At least 7+ years’ experience in marketing and distributing CIS investment products.
• At least 2 years’ experience managing a sales team.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• In close collaboration with the Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer, investment team, and distribution team, the candidate will be required to:
• Communicate and market the various strategies of the company funds to existing and prospective clients.
• Develop a sales strategy for the company's suite of funds and private client services.
• Develop and meet defined sales targets.
• Create measurement criteria for managing the distribution team.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the distribution team.
• Organize client events and meetings to achieve sales objectives.
• Service clients.
• Contribute positively to the company culture.
