Head of Department Learning Experiences CA(SA)

This position is limited to BBBEE applications due to BEE requirements.

A well-established parastatal and professional services group located in Pretoria requires the expertise of a Head of Department Learning Experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position Overview :

The primary administrative purpose of this role is that of a Departmental Head within a portfolio or, in the institution's nomenclature, a Business Unit Leader (BUL).

The primary functional purpose of the Head of Department Learning Experiences is to create a culture of continuous learning, enhance employee skills and knowledge, and drive organizational performance and growth. This role involves driving and enhancing the overall organisational learning of the institution through strategic People initiatives.

The Head of Department Learning Experiences requires a seasoned Human Resources professional with a deep understanding of talent management, organizational development, and change management.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Experience required :

  • Chartered Accountant of South Africa (CA(SA)) minimum requirement.
  • A completed Masters level qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Senior professional registration with a recognised Human Resources professional body.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resources Management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Management role involving Training and Development, Talent Management, and other functions of the HR Value Chain.
  • Experience working within the Financial Services / Professional Services / Big 4 Accounting and Auditing firms as a Training and Development Specialist.
