A well-established parastatal and professional services group, located in Pretoria requires the expertise of a Head of Department – Learning Experiences.

Position Overview:

The primary administrative purpose of this role is that of a Departmental Head within a portfolio or in the institution’s nomenclature a Business Unit Leader (BUL).

The primary functional purpose of the Head of Department – Learning Experiences is for creating a culture of continuous learning, enhancing employee skills and knowledge, and driving organizational performance and growth through strategic People initiatives.

The Head of Department – Learning Experiences role requires a seasoned Human Resources professional with a deep understanding of talent management, organizational development, and change management.

Essential Qualifications and Experience required:

1. Chartered Accountant of South Africa, CA(SA), minimum requirement.
2. A completed Masters level qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent, preferred.
3. Senior professional registration with a recognised Human Resources professional body.
4. A minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources Management of which a minimum of 5 years should have been in a Senior Management role with exposure to Training and Development, Talent Management, and other functions of the HR Value Chain.
5. Experience working within the Financial Services / Professional Services / Big 4 Accounting and Auditing firms as a Training and Development Specialist.
