Overview

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Head of Compliance & HR to join our client in Claremont, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee compliance, legal, and HR functions within a fast-paced financial services environment. If you have a strong background in compliance, financial services, and human resources, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full HR function, including onboarding, regulatory adherence, and performance management.
  • Communicate with external compliance advisors and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Review and produce internal legal documents.
  • Support the CEO with operational and strategic tasks.
  • Onboard service providers and conduct due diligence processes.
  • Ensure compliance with FSCA, FIC, SARB, and banking regulations.
Requirements
  • Degree/diploma in Law or Finance.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, fintech, and/or crypto.
  • Strong legal background to manage in-house legal matters.
  • Strong operational and managerial experience in HR and compliance.
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask across HR, legal, compliance, and management functions.
  • Interest in cryptocurrency and financial services.
