This hybrid executive role partners with legal, risk and business units to safeguard the company's reputation, manage regulatory relationships, and drive training, policy development and investigations.

Ideal candidates hold a Law degree or a Master’s in Finance/Business Administration, with 10+

Qualifications

• Law degree or Master’s in Finance, Business Admin, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in compliance/legal/regulatory roles, preferably within financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant financial regulations (e.g., FICA, POPIA, Companies Act).
• Proven experience building and implementing compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Admitted legal practitioner is an advantage.

This executive role involves overseeing all regulatory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local and international laws, and developing robust compliance programs. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the company's reputation and mitigating legal and regulatory risks. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of the financial regulatory landscape and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, working closely with legal, risk, and business units.
