Job summary

MTN is seeking a senior finance professional to lead end-to-end management, governance, automation, and strategic oversight of postpaid commission programmes across all Consumer channels. The role ensures accurate calculations, payment processing, accounting, forecasting, and analytics while maintaining compliance with IFRS and MTN policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year Degree / Diploma in Financial Management / Accounting / Internal Auditing or related.
• Minimum 5 years in Finance, Commissions, Incentive Compensation, Commercial Finance or Financial Control.
• Experience in commission systems, analytics and automation projects.
• Telecommunications industry experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of postpaid commission programmes across Consumer channels.
• Oversee monthly close, accruals, journals, and accounting adjustments in line with IFRS and MTN policies.
• Develop forecasting models and perform variance analysis for commission costs.
• Drive automation and governance across commission processes and reporting.
• Provide management reporting on commission spend, performance, and risks.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the function.
