Job Summary

The Absa Business Bank Group Internal Audit (IA) team seeks a seasoned professional interested in Business Banking (BB). This role provides comprehensive insight into the bank’s strategy and operations. We are looking for an experienced Head of Audit/Principal (Director) to lead our BB audit team.

Absa Business Bank specializes in relationship banking, offering a suite of financial solutions including transactional banking, lending, payments, cash flow management, and digital banking platforms. The bank is committed to enabling business success through innovative products, strategic advisory, and deep market understanding.

This role involves defining the audit plan for the portfolio, being part of the IA Extended Leadership team, ensuring audit plan delivery, and compliance with IA methodologies. The incumbent will be responsible for audit quality, team efficiency, and stakeholder communication, including Board and Regulator interactions.
