Job summary

Premier FMCG seeks a seasoned Production Manager to lead a wheat-flour milling operation, delivering in-spec flour at target capacity while upholding food-safety, safety and cost controls. Qualifications

• Recognised Wheat/Flour Milling qualification.
• Qualified/competent Wheat Miller with substantial practical milling experience.
• Advanced milling training/qualification would be advantageous.
• Recognised management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Occupational Health & Safety training/certificate.
• FSSC 22000/HACCP food-safety training and practical experience.
• Shift Miller - Senior/Head Miller - Production/Mill Manager
• Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial wheat/flour milling with extensive experience as Head Miller.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production delivers high-quality flour to specifications.
• Optimise milling processes for throughput, extraction, yield and quality.
• Control process variation and identify root causes of deviations.
• Manage mill performance against KPIs.
• Lead ~25 shift millers and assistants and develop the team.
• Drive food safety, quality audits and OHS compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to maximise plant availability.
