Head Dietitian, Private Practice - Pietermaritzburg

Our client, based in Pietermaritzburg is looking for a Senior/Head Dietitian to work at the practice and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the dietetics team, ensuring high standards of nutritional care.
  • Develop and implement clinical nutrition programs and policies.
  • Oversee patient assessments, meal plans, and medical nutrition therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Train and mentor junior dietitians and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian in Independent Practice category with HPCSA
  • At least 2 years' experience in clinical nutrition
  • Driver's license & own reliable transport is essential
