Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef for a well-established restaurant group based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the cooking, preparation and development of modern cuisines, kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring food quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a variety of Cuisines, passion for Modern Flair
  • Experience in menu planning, kitchen operations, and food quality standards
  • Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the kitchen team
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Certification in culinary arts or relevant field is advantageous
