You will set beverage standards, curate menus, train staff, and ensure flawless execution across multiple events, while staying abreast of industry trends in spirits and wine within the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years as a Bartender with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and lead a bar team.
• Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
• Willingness to travel within Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bar operations for all catering events, ensuring high service standards.
• Develop creative seasonal cocktail menus and maintain wine/beer lists.
• Procure and control beverage inventory to optimize cost and reduce waste.
• Train bar staff on mixology techniques and responsible service.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and health regulations.
• Engage guests with exceptional beverage service and handle requests.
• Set up and break down bar stations efficiently for events.
• Collaborate with catering/culinary teams to integrate beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas.
• Stay updated on spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail trends.
