Job description

We are seeking a Hardware Operations Manager for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Diploma / Degree in Business Management / Operations Management with experience.
  • Proven work experience as Ops Manager – hardware environment.
  • 3+ years experience with hardware and familiar with business & financial principles.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills.
  • MS Office literacy and valid drivers: willing to travel to branches on an adhoc basis.
  • Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm & Saturdays 8am-2pm.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost effective way.
  • Improve operations management systems, processes & best practices.
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory & oversee warehouse efficiency.
  • Ensure processes are legally compliant.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Marketing and manage budgets / forecasts.
  • Examine financial data and improve profitability.
  • Perform quality controls & monitor production KPI’s.
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff.
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service.

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience.
