Job Description:

A Stylist is a skilled professional in the field of hairdressing or hairstyling responsible for providing a range of hair care and styling services to clients. They play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their desired looks, whether it involves cutting, coloring, styling, or providing hair care treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair type, preferences, and desired styles. Listen to their concerns and offer expert advice and recommendations based on their needs.
2. Hair Services: Perform a variety of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, blow-drying, curling, and straightening, based on the client's requirements and preferences.
3. Hair Treatments: Administer hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp massages to improve the health and appearance of clients' hair.
4. Coloring: Offer expertise in hair coloring techniques, including highlights, lowlights, balayage, ombre, and full-color applications. Ensure accurate color mixing and application for desired results.
5. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest hair care products, tools, and equipment. Recommend appropriate products and home care routines to clients for maintaining their hairstyles.
6. Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service, a friendly demeanor, and a welcoming salon experience.
7. Sanitation and Safety: Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols, including proper sterilization of tools and equipment, to ensure a clean and safe salon environment.
8. Appointment Management: Manage client appointments efficiently, maintaining punctuality and flexibility to accommodate clients' schedules.
9. Sales and Upselling: Promote additional salon services, packages, and retail products to enhance the client's experience and increase salon revenue.
10. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client preferences, services provided, and product recommendations for future reference and follow-up.
11. Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism through grooming, attire, and behavior. Uphold the salon's standards and contribute positively to the salon's ambiance.

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology or hairstylist license.
