Job summary

CVQuest in Cape Town is seeking three experienced Hairstylists & Colourists to join their new start-up salon. Successful candidates will be South African citizens with at least 1 year of styling/coloring experience and a relevant hairstylist qualification.

The role covers cutting, colouring, braiding, scalp treatments, and staying current with trends. You'll work Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off, and must communicate in English and Afrikaans.

Qualifications

• SETA-accredited Hairdressing qualification.
• South African citizen able to communicate in both English and Afrikaans.
• Excellent people and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Basic hair care services (trimming, cutting, styling).
• Advanced colouring, braiding and bleaching.
• Hair and scalp treatment.
• Recommend various products and techniques which promote healthy hair.
• Order supplies.
• Ensure a clean working area at all times.
• Keep up-to-date with latest trends in hairdressing and colouring.
