Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and detail-oriented Guesthouse Caretaker to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, maintaining cleanliness, addressing concerns, performing minor repairs, and managing booking records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services:
   Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
   Offer information about guesthouse amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
2. Housekeeping:
   Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are clean, well-stocked, and in good condition.
   Ensure bathrooms are sanitized, tidy, and fully functional.
3. Maintenance:
   Oversee or perform basic repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues).
4. Guest Relations:
   Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
   Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding to requests efficiently.
5. Administrative Duties:
   Maintain accurate records of guest bookings, payments, and other relevant information.
   Assist with check-ins and check-outs as needed.

Requirements:

1. No previous experience in hospitality needed.
2. Housekeeping or property maintenance is a plus.
3. Strong communication and customer service skills.
4. Ability to handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
5. Organized and capable of managing booking records.
6. Friendly, proactive, and able to work independently.
7. Driver's license.
8. Microsoft proficient.
9. Computer literate.
