Job summary

DHL Express in Midrand seeks a GTW Frontline Advisor to coordinate customs clearance, track shipments, and resolve clearance-related queries with speed and accuracy.

You will update customers on clearance status, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure high standards of service while following Global SOPs and ISO guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric required or equivalent.
• Degree in Transport and Logistics preferred.
• At least 2+ years in customer service or contact centre roles.
• Customs knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, empathy and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Provide track-and-trace services for shipments undergoing clearance.
• Handle clearance-related queries with professionalism and empathy.
• Keep customers updated on clearance status until release is secured.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth clearance and customer satisfaction.
• Attend to customer queries efficiently, prioritising the customer experience.
• Adhere to Global SOPs and ISO guidelines daily.
