Position Title : GT Sales Manager for Southern and East Africa

Imagine starting your day diving into the fast-paced world of energy transformation. You’ll be engaging with industry leaders, government agencies, and key decision-makers to shape the future of energy in Southern and Eastern Africa. Your role will span across promoting Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology Portfolio—an innovative suite of solutions including HV Products (Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Surge Arrestors, Disconnectors, GIS, Insulators), Turnkey Substations, Digital Grid Solutions, Energy Storage, and Services. Whether you're working on a proposal for a cutting-edge renewable energy project or strategizing with cross-functional teams to address complex customer needs, your contributions will directly impact the region’s energy landscape, driving sustainability and innovation forward.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies aligned with Siemens Energy's objectives to drive growth and competitiveness in the market.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, EPC firms, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and government agencies to identify and pursue business opportunities in Southeastern and Eastern Africa.
  • Conduct market research and utilize Siemens Energy tools to analyse trends, customer needs, and opportunities across the energy sector.
  • Advocate for sustainable and innovative solutions, including Siemens Energy’s Blue Portfolio Non-SF6 products.
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, and other internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.

What You Bring

  • Experience in sales within the energy or technology sector, with a strong understanding of customer engagement and business development.
  • Knowledge of grid technology products and solutions, including their applications and benefits.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals.
  • Familiarity with the energy landscape in Southern and Eastern Africa, as well as broader global trends in the energy sector.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
