Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Group Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The Group Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our organization and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and file income tax returns, VAT returns, PAYE and ETI returns, as well as any other tax related returns for the organisation and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist in tax planning and strategy development to minimise tax liabilities and to utilise any assessed losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with internal / external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Analyse financial data to determine tax implications and report findings to management.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
  • Provide support and training to other departments on all tax-related matters.

Qualifications :

  • Honor's degree in taxation.
  • Registered tax practitioner
  • 3+ years of experience in tax accounting.
