We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Group Sales Consultant to promote and sell group life insurance solutions. This role involves engaging prospective clients, presenting value-based insurance offerings, and ensuring exceptional client relationship management.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Prospect and engage with new clients through personal networks, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Promote group insurance solutions to prospects, handling follow-ups and closing deals via the broker portal.
  • Provide accurate product information and guidance to ensure client understanding.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings through various channels (in-person, Teams, Zoom).
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to support retention and referrals.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to enhance client experience and service delivery.
  • Education : Matric (required); Tertiary qualification in Insurance, Business, or related field (advantageous).
  • Certifications : RE5 Certification (required).
  • Experience : Minimum of 12 months’ recent experience in life or short-term insurance sales.
  • Languages : Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Technical Skills : CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Other : Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and client-service orientation.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
