Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Group Sales Consultant to promote and sell group life insurance solutions. This role involves engaging prospective clients, presenting value-based insurance offerings, and ensuring exceptional client relationship management.
Bilingual fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Prospect and engage with new clients through personal networks, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Promote group insurance solutions to prospects, handling follow-ups and closing deals via the broker portal.
- Provide accurate product information and guidance to ensure client understanding.
- Schedule and conduct meetings through various channels (in-person, Teams, Zoom).
- Foster strong relationships with clients to support retention and referrals.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to enhance client experience and service delivery.
- Education : Matric (required); Tertiary qualification in Insurance, Business, or related field (advantageous).
- Certifications : RE5 Certification (required).
- Experience : Minimum of 12 months’ recent experience in life or short-term insurance sales.
- Languages : Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Technical Skills : CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Other : Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
