Group Revenue Manager – Luxury Property Group | Bryanston or Cape Town
Salary : R45,000
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Revenue Manager to join a leading luxury property group, with roles based in either Bryanston or Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising profitability through effective pricing, inventory control, and distribution channel management across the group’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Management Strategy :
Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to optimise revenue and occupancy across all properties
Analyse market trends and demand forecasts to inform pricing and sales decisions
Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Head of Sales on targeted promotions and rate strategies
Conduct daily yield management across all online booking platforms
Maintain and optimise direct booking rates on company websites
Perform regular competitor pricing reviews and lead weekly positioning meetings
Inventory & Rate Management :
Oversee inventory control ensuring availability aligns with market demand
Ensure accurate and consistent rate loading across all distribution platforms
Manage pricing consistency across direct websites and online travel agencies (OTAs)
Develop and manage room and package rates
OTA & Online Channel Management :
Manage all online booking portals including Expedia, Booking.com, Hotelbeds, Book Now, and Travel Ground
Update specials and promotions regularly on OTAs and the group’s website
Expand and optimise OTA listings to increase visibility and reach for all properties
Monitor online occupancy levels to maximise revenue opportunities
Track and report daily OTA performance metrics such as enquiries and conversions
Sales & Reservations :
Oversee daily reservation sales activities
Monitor and analyse group-wide online revenue performance
Generate and present comprehensive revenue reports to senior stakeholders
Participate in strategic meetings to align revenue goals across departments
Demand Forecasting :
Analyse historical data, market trends, and external factors to anticipate future demand
Utilise forecasting models to provide accurate demand predictions
Monitor booking pace and adjust pricing and inventory strategies in real time
Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
Minimum Experience & Requirements :
5 to 8 years’ experience in revenue management within luxury hospitality, including lodge and hotel environments
Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and inventory control
Proven analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and solve complex problems
Experience managing group reservations and room block processes
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised with effective time management and multitasking capabilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
Valid RSA ID
Presentable, dynamic, flexible, and a proactive team player
Minimum Matric certificate; further education or formal training in revenue management advantageous
