Reporting To: Head of Supply Chain & Procurement

Job Purpose

To plan and coordinate all planning and supply activities to meet company objectives in terms of product supply, desired stock levels, and demand forecasts, ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity at the lowest total cost.

To provide continuous improvement on all planning and operational systems, enabling the desired measurements and benefits of these activities.

To ensure continuous supply of all active and inactive materials and packaging by meeting the required specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Job Outputs

1. Manage cost increases and negotiate reductions based on increasing volume.
2. Manage and implement Cost Measurement and Reporting System.
3. Manage supplier service contacts.
4. Coordinate and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders, including RA, company sites, and suppliers.
5. Implement and measure SOP compliance, driving key stakeholder engagement until completion.
6. Respond to principal queries within 1 day.
7. Maintain excellent relationship management.
8. Reduce cost of goods with a strong understanding of cost increases and expectations.
9. Assist and liaise with production, prioritizing planning activities.
10. Review plans with manufacturing schedulers to optimize assets based on demand forecasts and distribution requirements.
11. Manage plans through Planner/Buyers for third-party manufacturers, including long-term requirements.
12. Manage communication channels between demand creation and supply teams regarding inventory issues.
13. Improve planning processes through reviews of ASCP, Demantra, Oracle systems, and stock targets.
14. Address queries from Business Units within agreed SLAs.
15. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels.
16. Provide input to supplier audits.
17. Source alternative suppliers to ensure competitive and reliable supply, maintaining dual sources for raw and packaging materials.
18. Understand regulatory requirements for registration of actives and inactives.
19. Lead projects for the implementation of actives, inactives, and packaging.
20. Provide quality leadership, fostering creative improvements and inspiring teams.
21. Teach and mentor others in selling value and solutions to customers.
22. Develop team knowledge and skills through talent management.

Required Learning

Relevant Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance.

5 years planning experience, preferably in Pharma/FMCG industry.

3-5 years supply chain experience within warehousing/logistics.

3-5 years managerial experience.

Knowledge of advanced supply chain planning on Oracle is an advantage.

Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and processes.
