Group Procurement Manager - East Rand

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain
  2. MBA or similar managerial qualification (advantageous)
  3. 10+ years managerial experience in procurement within large-scale industrial environments
  4. Successful track record in procurement / supply chain strategy implementation
  5. Proven strategic and leadership success
Responsibilities
  1. Oversee purchasing strategy, policy, and processes within the division
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices to enhance operational performance
  3. Participate in new business initiatives, review impacts, and communicate findings to management
  4. Analyze markets and suppliers for current and future material availability
  5. Ensure procurement policies meet business objectives regarding price, quality, and delivery
  6. Stay informed on local and global industry trends in procurement
  7. Define procurement and service agreements to ensure standards are met
  8. Build and maintain an effective procurement team capable of meeting performance targets
