Job description

Role Description: The successful candidate will be involved in making the right decisions in the replenishment of stock for parts sourced locally or internationally from Kassel and other foreign suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the company Group Parts has the required inventory levels available to satisfy customer requirements for Parts and Accessories, within the defined financial budgets.
  • Analyze stock replenishment and forecast reports to determine optimal stock levels for targeted availability and confirm firm orders for local suppliers.
  • Conduct daily analysis of airfreight and sea freight order proposals and placements.
  • Analyze, report, and take corrective actions on Dealer backorder parts daily.
  • Fulfill backorders within the required lead-times and follow up on overdue deliveries with suppliers.
  • Analyze the Potential Stock-out Report to proactively prevent backorders.
  • Monitor stock levels to meet stock turn and months cover targets.
  • Run reports to highlight problem areas for management evaluation.
  • Manage and control excess and obsolete stock.
  • Manage parts that have been superseded, ensuring orders are updated for stock receipts and Dealer sales orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules are met and resolve parts quality issues.
  • Coordinate with Group Parts Distribution Centres regarding delivery schedules, priorities, and stock queries.
  • Assist Parts Support Helpdesk with Dealer queries regarding parts availability and resolution.
  • Update invoice and vessel information in SAP ET to ensure timely customs clearance of Kassel shipments.
  • Manage and delete old Purchase Orders to maintain accuracy in the stock replenishment process.

Qualifications: Degree / National Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related discipline

Experience: Minimum 3 years in warehousing or material handling
