Job description

SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :

Our client is seeking the services of a Group Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability & Risk Manager to join their team, based in Centurion.

The successful candidate must ensure that the company complies with, develops, and implements all Health and Safety, Sustainability, and Risk policies, procedures, and related legislation and regulations.

Minimum Requirements :

  • B-degree or equivalent with subjects covering OHS, Risk Management, Compliance, ESG
  • Facilities and Property Management experience of at least 5 years
  • ESG, OHS, Compliance, and Risk Management expertise for at least 5 years
  • Proven track record
  • Managerial experience

Knowledge and Skills :

  • Building systems and operational management of facilities
  • Occupational Health and Safety management knowledge and auditing skills
  • Interpreting and practicing integrated Risk Management and Compliance
  • Development and interpretation of ESG policies, setting targets, and implementing compliance in the built environment
  • Occupational Health and Safety risk practices related to personnel
  • Financial objectives focus, including value creation and cost reduction
  • Demonstrate objectivity, integrity, and independence
  • Build excellent relationships with business units, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ability to inspire and drive high performance
