Qualifications

SUMMARY:

The Group Leader: Maintenance will ensure all KPAs of maintenance to attain and sustain stable production by ensuring high availability of machines and equipment, continually improving equipment to meet plant productivity targets, and ensuring the teams operate safely.

POSITION INFO:

Industry: Automotive

Education & Experience:
  • National Diploma/ BTech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering/maintenance department within the automotive industry, including experience in Instrumentation, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Electrical, Mechanical, and Safety.
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory Experience (Production / Operation Management)
  • Knowledge of ISO Systems and Standards
  • Knowledge of OHS Act
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) at an intermediate skill level
  • Purchasing/Sourcing Skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CMMS or other Maintenance systems
  • Experience in an Automated Manufacturing Environment
  • Innovative ideas and planning abilities
  • Judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
