Job summary

Advtech seeks a seasoned Group Head of Sport to provide strategic leadership for sport across ACE Schools. The role focuses on developing and implementing a future-focused sport strategy that aligns with school brand value propositions and drives participation, excellence, student well-being, and talent development.

The role also emphasizes professional development of sports staff, learning programme creation, and capability building across the group to deliver exceptional sporting experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sport management, sport science, education, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in sport leadership, management, or programme development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group-wide sport strategy aligned with the organisation's vision and educational goals.
• Lead high-quality sport programmes across all schools and phases, with inclusive pathways.
• Design and deliver staff training, professional development, and course materials for sport staff.
• Develop talent identification frameworks and athlete development pathways, including partnerships with federations and clubs.
• Provide governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational support, including risk management and compliance.
