Job summary

We invite applications from passionate and experienced educators to join our dynamic team. Our Sports Department is looking for an experienced sports educator, to fulfil the role of Head of Sport, to start in January 2027.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Education Qualification or Sports Science/Management Degree with PGCE
• A record of excellent curriculum delivery with an understanding of CAPS and varied assessment techniques in Physical Education
• The ability to teach Physical Education at primary school level
• Must be SACE Registered
• Experience in timetabling, sport and extra mural coordination and management essential
• Ability to oversee the entire sports and phys-ed department
• Proven experience coaching a core school sport / extra mural
• Exceptional organisation and administrative skills
• Ability to work well in a team as well as individually
• A willingness to work beyond normal working hours
