Job description

My client within the Financial Services sector is looking for a Group Finance Manager to take ownership of global financial operations across multiple entities and support a fast-growing, impact-driven business operating in emerging markets. Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounting & Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple group entities (US, UK, Singapore, Kenya); maintain and refine departmental cost allocation methodologies; perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet items
  • Financial Operations: Oversee payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) processes; oversee the Group’s treasury function to optimise cash holdings and manage currency exposure
  • Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit regulatory returns, including FCA and SEC filings; manage ongoing tax compliance, including VAT and PSA returns; coordinate annual corporation tax return filings with external tax advisors
  • Audit & Financial Controls: Lead annual audits across all group entities, acting as the key point of contact with auditors; ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting requirements.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support the COO in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and forecasts for the organisation; maintain and develop management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to track key financial and operational metrics.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g., CA(SA), ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualified experience, in management accounting and financial analysis or related role
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar systems)
