Job description

Kallos Global, a prominent fruit marketing company based in the Western Cape, currently has the above-mentioned vacancy for a detail-oriented individual to take responsibility for the financial management function of the group, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and indirectly to the CEO and Managing Director.

Key Performance Areas

• Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Weekly credit risk exposure overview
• Cash flow planning
• Forex management
• Monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journals
• Income tax and VAT compliance
• Year-end audit preparation
• Reviewing and improving internal financial controls
• Staff management and support to the finance team

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom)
• Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA / SAIPA)
• 3-10 years post articles experience
• Relevant experience in the fruit industry will be advantageous
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Experience with the QX system / Pastel will be advantageous
• Commercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Multi-tasking ability and ability to prioritise
• Management and leadership aptitude
• Deadline-orientated
• Well-developed communication and administration skills
