Group Financial Manager

Our client is on the hunt for a strategic and results-driven Group Financial Manager to steer their financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to new heights.

This role is a cornerstone in the company, ensuring the financial health and growth of the business through meticulous management and innovative financial strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Spearhead the development of financial policies and processes to optimize fiscal performance and accountability.
2. Drive cost-reduction initiatives, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency gains.
3. Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction, aiding in strategic planning and analysis.
4. Forge robust finance and operational strategies by analyzing trends and establishing key performance metrics.
5. Ensure the integrity of financial reports and adherence to statutory requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. A Qualified Chartered Accountant credential is essential.
2. A minimum of 5 years' post-articles experience in a Finance Management, Group Accountant, or similar role.
3. Profound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and current South African financial regulations.
4. Expertise in financial modeling, internal controls, and corporate governance is vital.
5. Proficiency in BI tools and debtor systems, with a strong command of MS Office suite.
