DBN000109 – GROUP FINANCE MANAGER - PIETERMARITZBURG

Purpose of the Job :

To oversee & optimize group financial performance through budgeting, reporting, cost control & strategic planning for efficient, profitable operations.

Required Qualifications :

  • BCom Accounting Degree - Minimum.
  • CIMA Qualification advantageous.
  • At least 3-5 years Financial Management experience within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all financial functions, ensuring IFRS compliance.
  • Implement systems to meet financial and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on business performance.
  • Manage product costing and maintain BOM accuracy.
  • Handle payables, receivables, and statutory compliance, including import / export processes.
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure tax compliance.
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial statements.
  • Deliver monthly financial, cash flow, and manufacturing reports.
  • Analyze income statements and address variances.
  • Submit all statutory returns (EMP, workers' comp, etc.).
  • Manage Admin, HR, and Stores teams.
  • Oversee insurance coverage and claims.
  • Align B-BBEE with financial strategy.
  • Maintain 5S standards in admin and stores areas.
  • Unquestionable Integrity.
  • First Class numerical skills.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
