Job Title : Group Financial Manager (CA(SA))

Location : Office Based - Lynnwood

Industry : Sustainability / Environmental Services

Overview :

A well-established company operating in the environmental and sustainability sector is seeking to appoint a Group Financial Manager to replace a departing team member. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years of post-articles experience , preferably in a similar leadership role. The position reports to senior leadership and plays a key role in managing group finance functions, reporting, systems, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

Full financial management of the group, including monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting

Lead and develop a small finance team

Oversee financial systems, controls, and automation improvements

Use AI-based systems for reporting, payment approvals, and other process automation

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting processes

Requirements :

CA(SA) with a minimum of 3 years’ post-articles experience

Proven experience in a financial manager or group financial manager role

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a finance team

Technologically strong with a passion for systems and process optimisation

Proficient in Excel (advanced) and ideally familiar with Xero and Saft

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across various levels

Afrikaans proficiency preferred; English fluency required

Additional Preferences :

Experience implementing or working with AI-driven finance / reporting systems

Experience in an SME or high-growth environment will be an advantage
