Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Group FM position on behalf of one of our clients, and we're looking for a specific profile that's the right fit—not just for the role, but also for long-term growth within the business.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Oversee the full accounting function across all trading entities. Your responsibilities will include:
2. Oversight and management of the Group's accounting systems, processes, and finance staff.
3. Timely compilation and distribution of accurate monthly management reports.
4. Managing the Group's Credit Control and collections functions.
5. Overseeing cash flow and managing banking facilities.
6. Coordinating and managing audits across the Group—liaising with auditors, ensuring all prep work is done timely.
7. Assisting with Machine Order administration, including debtor/creditor transactions, forward cover, and liaising with relevant external parties.
8. Developing and implementing Group-wide Accounting Policies and Procedures.
9. Collaborating with other departments and branches to drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

What We're Looking For

1. BCom degree with a major in Accounting.
2. SAICA articles completed (non-CA).
3. 1-3 years' post-article experience in a finance/accounting role, preferably in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
4. Experience with Syspro would be a significant advantage.
5. A team player who's proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to step into a role with real responsibility and visibility.
