We are currently recruiting for a Group FM position on behalf of one of our clients, and we're looking for a specific profile that's the right fit—not just for the role, but also for long-term growth within the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee the full accounting function across all trading entities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversight and management of the Group's accounting systems, processes, and finance staff.
- Timely compilation and distribution of accurate monthly management reports.
- Managing the Group's Credit Control and collections functions.
- Overseeing cash flow and managing banking facilities.
- Coordinating and managing audits across the Group—liaising with auditors, ensuring all prep work is done timely.
- Assisting with Machine Order administration, including debtor/creditor transactions, forward cover, and liaising with relevant external parties.
- Developing and implementing Group-wide Accounting Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborating with other departments and branches to drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
What We're Looking For
- BCom degree with a major in Accounting.
- SAICA articles completed (non-CA).
- 1-3 years' post-article experience in a finance/accounting role, preferably in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Experience with Syspro would be a significant advantage.
- A team player who's proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to step into a role with real responsibility and visibility.
