Our client is a prominent corporate group with a strong national presence, committed to financial excellence and operational integrity across its diversified business divisions.

They are looking for an accomplished and strategic Group Finance Manager to take ownership of the financial management function of one of their core divisions.

This is a key leadership role that offers the opportunity to work at group level, driving financial reporting, treasury oversight, and the optimisation of head office accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a high-performing finance team and oversee the financial operations of the division.
  2. Consolidate and report divisional financial results in line with group requirements at month-end, year-end, half-year, and quarterly intervals.
  3. Manage all financial and banking aspects related to the division's head office.
  4. Coordinate quarterly reporting, Audit Committee packs, and Board packs.
  5. Oversee accounting processes related to new acquisitions and lead integration activities.
  6. Manage the end-to-end annual budgeting process, including preparing consolidated budgets and three-year plans.
  7. Coordinate quarterly forecasting and prepare consolidated forecasts.
  8. Prepare treasury reports, including cash flow projections, and manage head office cash flows and banking.
  9. Oversee the head office finance team, including payroll and daily accounting operations.
  10. Provide strategic input on financial legislation, IFRS developments, and best practices.
  11. Act as a key liaison to senior leadership teams and group finance stakeholders.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a Group Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role within a listed environment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and relevant financial legislation and statutory requirements.
  3. Strong experience managing full financial cycles, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  4. Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
  5. High IT literacy and proficiency with modern finance and reporting systems.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  7. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  8. High integrity, professionalism, and leadership by example.
  9. Proactive, highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive innovation.
