We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and motivated Group Financial Manager to join the executive management team for the Evergreen Health business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
- Responsible for the preparation and interpretation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Responsible for development draw-down requests.
- Prepare cost of sales calculations for the various developments and calculate the profitability of projects.
- Calculate commission payments to estate agents.
- Review and sign off creditor payments.
- Responsible for VAT and income tax returns.
- Responsible for the annual audit for your companies.
- Assist with the group consolidation and drafting of the group annual financial statements.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Financial modelling with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Driving key financial and operational indicators and profitability.
- Ability to perform tasks independently with high levels of organization and attention to detail.
- Take control of the company’s accounting function.
- Regularly report upon and interpret the management accounts and financial reports.
- Lead, motivate and manage all reports to maximize individual performance.
- Develop a culture of high performance.
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
- Manage and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Ensuring effective financial management, administration and processes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a Senior Financial Manager, preferably within the Healthcare Industry.
- Experience dealing with high volumes of financial transactions.
- Preferably a chartered qualified accountant or an equivalent alternative level of education.
- Strong business acumen and leadership qualities.
- Must be comfortable engaging with managing directors, executives and senior managers.
- Very detailed oriented.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver high quality, accurate work in a short-space of time.
- Strong financial systems knowledge (ideally SAGE Evolution or a similar program).
- Excellent leaderships quality, sound decision making and problem-solving skills.
