Qualifications, experience and other competencies required :
- Honours Degree CA (SA)
- 5-8 years’ experience in a similar environment
- 10 years’ experience in financial management
- Advanced Excel, IFRS, Planning and Budgeting skills
- Strong understanding of BCEA and Labour legislation
- Five years’ experience with HR database administration, including Payroll systems and integration
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Excellent administration, interpersonal communication, and customer liaison skills
Key areas of responsibility : (Not totally inclusive)
- Support the Group Financial Director in developing organisational budgetary structures and financial strategies to drive stakeholder value and ensure future success.
- Influence and achieve the Group's financial targets.
- Participate in strategic formulation and define organizational priorities.
- Develop long-term initiatives aligned with strategic guidelines.
- Ensure adequate resourcing of organizational strategy through financial planning.
- Develop and implement the group tax and BBBEE ownership strategies.
- Manage investment strategies, fixed assets, procurement alignment, and financial performance reporting.
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and financial modelling.
- Manage borrowing strategies, debt negotiations, and transactional risks.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to management and the Board.
- Oversee budgeting, planning, and Capex analysis.
- Manage payables, payment accuracy, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead team performance, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support employee development, succession planning, and corporate governance adherence.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, statutory, and regulatory frameworks, including IFRS, tax laws, and Reserve Bank requirements.
