Job description

My Global Energy Client is seeking an experienced Business Finance Group Accountant with reporting experience at the Group / Global level to forecast, plan, and build financial models for various global energy projects. Suitable candidates should have a postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, experience with reporting tools like Power BI, and strong ERP experience. Applicants must be permanent residents or citizens of the following cities: Nairobi, Oxford UK, Cape Town, Johannesburg. Temporary visas are excluded.

Position Details:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting with a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACMA, or ACA
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS or similar
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros
• Strong experience with reporting tools, especially Power BI
• Minimum of 7 years experience in forecasting and financial modeling within capital-intensive industries such as Oil, Gas, Mining, Telecoms, Automotive, or Manufacturing
• Exceptional CAPEX and group consolidation experience within multinationals listed on London or NY stock exchanges
• Alternatively, extensive experience with global business financial modeling and forecasting, such as in private equity or financial institutions with business funding
• Exceptional leadership skills; this role offers potential growth opportunities
