Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Group Aftersales Field Operations Manager in the Group Aftersales Department – NSO Sandton.
Brief Role Description
The successful candidate will manage the specialist field force team for after-sales, focusing on company and Group Parts turnover objectives, oil & tyres, motor body repairs, and converters.
The role involves interfacing the Group Parts Division with the dealer network through consultations and activities in the Dealer Support Centre, aiming to create top-performing motor dealer franchise parts departments that support high customer satisfaction within South Africa and the Sub-Sahara Region.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Set achievable sales targets through research and dealer consultation to optimize genuine parts sales.
Manage Company Group Africa and dealer organizations to achieve sales results above budget.
Develop and coordinate annual incentive trips for PARTS and SERVICE Departments.
Manage the field force and dealers to meet desired objectives.
Provide consultation and dealer feedback via mystery shopping and franchise standards audits through Regional Parts Managers and the Dealer Support Centre.
Coordinate dealer meetings, including sub-committees, roadshows, launch events, and individual groups, providing accurate feedback on current and strategic issues.
Support dealer training for Service and Parts departments, ensuring qualified staff are always at the forefront.
Conduct follow-up meetings with dealers not achieving results to discuss reasons and actions to improve performance.
Facilitate customer (dealer) survey feedback and develop action plans to address gaps, communicating strategies to the network.
Ensure departmental operations meet objectives, budget, staff training, and development targets.
Develop strategies to improve Homogenous Part Groups sales and address declining performance.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders in the insurance industry to generate leads, increase market share for the Save a Car Program, and boost sales potential for Group Parts.
Qualification Requirements
Degree in Sales & Marketing Management
Experience Needed
5-8 years of postgraduate management or specialist experience in Sales and Marketing
Understanding of financial measures and principles, preferably with all Brands in the Dealer Network
Experience or understanding of advertising business
Forecasting and target-setting experience
Proficiency in QMF and MS Office
Mandatory knowledge of SAP

Broad exposure to Group Parts business
